I have severe back issues which causes pain not only in my back but down into my legs…I got the ReST bed hoping it would alleviate the pressure on my back and so I could raise my legs some to relieve some of the pressure and pain I feel…And it has helped tremendously…I love that I can set the firmness I desire and that it adjusts to me throughout the night…Being able to raise it so I am in a sitting position is extremely helpful when I want to sit in bed and read or watch YV without putting undue stress on my back…
I did have one issue where one of my mattresses somehow broke, it wouldn’t hold air…When I talked to customer service they were right on top of it and sent me a new mattress and even called me several times after…First to make sure I received it and then twice more to make sure I wasn’t having any more problems…
Now, the things I don’t like…I had to install the new air mattress…They sent all the parts but it was up to me to install…I am disabled so I actually was not even able to lift the box it came in…I am lucky enough to have a very handy and helpful son who installed it…Now during the installation we did have to call customer service for some help and they were great…But, if you are not handy or cannot lift heavy items you would not be able to install a new mattress if you needed.to…I don’t even want to imagine if my bed didn’t have 2 air mattress what installation would have been like…
I also wish the pumps were quieter…I don’t always sleep well and they can be annoying to hear when you are trying to sleep…A very light sleeper may not like this…
When the mattresses let out air you can hear it thru the bed, which can be annoying…You can hear it open up to let the air out and you can hear the air leaving the bed…
The last thing is my bed disconnects alot…This may be due to my modem placement being in another room or whatever but I wish you have the option to have a remote control…When I bought the bed I thought it came with remotes also but after it was set up and done I asked where the remotes were I was told there were no remotes and it was all thru a phone or tablet…So, if you don’t have a phone or tablet you wouldn’t even be able to own a ReST bed…My internet wasn’t set up at my new house yet, so I had to sleep on my granddaughters bed for a few days until my internet was connected so I could connect the bed…
But, overall I am happy with the bed…I have had a Nordic Air bed and a Sleep Number in the past and the ReST bed is comparable, just without the remote…
The four stars is mainly for the noisy pump and the no remote…And please understand its not like outrageously noisy but the pumps sit under my head so I hear them quite well…If you could move the pumps to the end of the bed it probably wouldn’t be able to be heard, but again they are both under my head…And because I have 2 dogs that sleep with me they go on and off all night as I move and the dogs move…
